Climate Stewards Certificate Program 

WSU Extension is launching the new Climate Stewards Certificate Program this fall. 

We had originally planned for in-person classes, enrollment numbers have led us to expand our reach across the North Sound region—including Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan, Island, and Snohomish Counties—by moving the course online through Zoom.  

The program will feature the core elements we designed to make this a rich learning experience: 

• Presentations from leading climate scientists  

• An online curriculum tailored to Washington State  

• Field trips for in-depth, place-based learning  

• Stewardship projects to foster community resilience  

The Fall series begins September 16.
